Men - advice please :-)?

Now, me being a woman and all emotional I may be getting the wrong idea about this bloke i know, and I know you guys don't think about relationships with as much thought and emotion as us girls (no offence). I am very attracted to this man for a while now, but I have no idea how he feels. I just can't make him out. He'll always seek me out when he sees me, will sit near me, talk to me, gives me quite a bit of attention over the other woman around us (I've never seen him go to anyone else for a chat like he will with me). But of course he may just be a really nice guy who has also found he has a bit in common with me and just likes to chat a lot. Any advice - would a bloke waste time just chatting with me if he didn't like me at all? He's never ever said or done anything to indicate he is attracted, never flirted, etc. Might be gay, i really don't know. But I have no intention of letting him know my feelings in case i make a fool of myself, and i'd hate to lose a friend.Men - advice please :-)?
Talk to him. Just ask a question. As a guy (and quite a typical aussie one too) subtle hints dont work because we dont look for them. A bloke apreciates knowing exactly where he stands and if you were to ask him out for drinks and then tell him you really like him....then the next step is his. If he really is a good friend thats interested or if he is just wanting friendship he will tell you...I'd bet almost anything on it.Men - advice please :-)?
Dude totally what he said
gotta agree with the first two answers

my opinion is that he wants you but not sure how you feel about him
Keep chatting with him, ask him to meet you for lunch, somethime. That would be a good start, then go from there.

When you meet someone for lunch, it not like a date, just like friends, getting together, let me know
tell him that u have an odd feelig 4 some reason that u think he likes u.ask him if he does.if u dont want to look stupid go somewhere that really is around.dont worry ull figure this out
