I'm into straighter men. Advice?

I absolutely can't stand flamers, it seems like they don't have their own identity so they have to buy into one that's already set up for them. It just represents a general discord with my way of life. I want to meet more gays, but flamers are the only ones who go to the gay clubs and make their gayness apparent. What can I do to meet gay men that are still manly?I'm into straighter men. Advice?
If you're open about your sexuality you could find them coming to you, mayhap. I will own, though, it is passing difficult finding gay men---and personally I don't like 'fabulous' ones either.I'm into straighter men. Advice?
I think you should try Levi/Leather clubs. Those type of gay men are into S%26amp;M and are really butch. That's their persona, so you should look for clubs in your area that cater to that type of crowd.





Most of those clubs have a strict door policy and ';flamers'; as you call them wouldn't be allowed past the door. The clubs usually have a ';no cologne, no make-up, no preppy, no fem'; rules or door policies.





Unfortunately, even though they are butch and very MACHO they're also a gay stereotype. But they just happen to be on the other side of the pendulum. I'm sure you'll be able to find a ';real'; man there.
Haha, I can give you my phone number--I've been told by some of my friends that I can't get a boyfriend because nobody believes me when I tell them I'm gay. Apparently, I act more ';heterosexual'; than heterosexuals.





I'm in the same boat. I'm gay, so I like *men!* Not those fruity little gays who are feminine enough to almost be androgynous. I absolutely positively can't stomach the way they perpetuate every negative stereotype we try every single cotton-picking day to stave off.





I think there are more ';straighter'; gay guys out there than we think, we just don't notice them because they fade into the background more. They're a lot more inconspicuous, so we think they don't exist... but like UFO's, there IS a rare sighting once in a while.





Where exactly do you find them?





Well, if I knew that, I wouldn't be as desperate to find a guy as I am now...
It's hard because you run the risk of meeting a ';straighter'; looking man who is infact straight... but i can understand where you're coming from.. i'm a lesbian and wouldn't be caught dead dating a flannel wearing Mollet yielding uber dyke... but i know for a fact there are many guys out there who feel the way you do... they look and act like real men! maybe join a gym...
